BJ and I were kindly given a free crib from his soccer coach. Being me, and having an insatiable desire to create precisely the kind of nursery I see in my dreams, the crib was destined for a makeover. After much searching online for the perfect end result, the project began this weekend. I worked for a few hours on it on Saturday and got maybe 1/30 of the way done. I think I may have bit off more than I can chew with this one.
Documentation of the bare bones, and the lady who's about to lose it:
Hopefully come May 19th, I will have a crib that I'm proud of and still some hair left on my head. This is gonna be a doozey folks.
I am not normal. I have never even thought about the nursery. And quite frankly, I think to myself "Ugh...I have to try and be creative and have this idyllic nursery??" it's daunting ha ha. but that is why YOU are my sister in law :) cause you help me be a girl.
ReplyDeletecan't WAIT to see the crib!
I can't wait to see your crib either -- I already know it will be darling!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Dani- I had a huge breakdown yesterday about the stress this nursery is causing me right now. I know it's silly, but making my home the way I want it is the one thing in my life I am a perfectionist about. I can't wait to help you with yours. Hopefully that will be sooner than later. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Susan Branch,
Is that really you? So much love from me! xoxo,
Ellery
