Since my parents were here the week before Ellie's birthday we had her party a few days early. We took Ellie to an Angels game, to the San Diego zoo, on walks, and out to breakfast. By the time her actual birthday came around we were a little partied out. We had a birthday breakfast together, just me, BJ, and Ellie the morning of her birthday. I made birthday cake pancakes (pancakes made with cake batter, sprinkles, and a powdered sugar icing), scrambled eggs with colby jack, and fruit. That night we met up with Kim and JaLayne for frozen yogurt to conclude the birthday festivities.
One thing is for certain- Ellie has been inducted into the sweet-eating club. She may just love sweets as much as her mama does.
