These are my most favorite of days.
It was over ninety degrees outside today, but somehow in the shade it felt just right. After visiting a friend we picked up some lunch and headed to a park. We laid on a blanket for over an hour, rolling, playing, looking up at the trees, and listening to the birds sing. I think they all flew here for the winter.
I love being outside. And I love that I'll be able to picnic like this year round here. Ellie enjoyed her lunch too. I hadn't seen a person in sight so I wasn't concerned about being modest while breastfeeding. Cue forty year-old man walking his golden retriever.
